Santa Maria Life Insurance, Wherever in the Valley You Work

We meet clients at their place of work or talk it through by phone, then help choose coverage sized to the people who rely on them. Once your policy is in force, we call back to explain how to keep it current as life changes.

Towns We Cover

Our days are spent mostly with people in Santa Maria, Orcutt and Nipomo, and we hear just as often from Guadalupe, Callender and Mission Hills. If a visit suits you, we can come by your business during a quieter hour. If your schedule is packed, the whole conversation can happen on the phone. Term life, whole life and universal life all begin with the same plain talk about who depends on you and what you want the policy to do.

We also work with families farther up and down the coast, in Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach and Oceano, and with clients in Vandenberg Village and those stationed at Vandenberg AFB. Distance does not change how we work. You get a written comparison of your options, time to read it, and a call from us after the policy arrives to walk through the beneficiary designations, premium schedule and anything else worth keeping an eye on.

What We Keep in Mind Across the Valley

  • Schedules that do not stop for paperwork

Plenty of work in the valley starts early and runs on seasonal hours. We schedule calls around that, keep meetings short, and leave you with the details in writing so you can read them at your own pace instead of deciding on the spot.

  • Coverage that moves when you do

Military and contract work brings frequent moves. Group coverage through an employer or the service usually ends when that job does. We look at what you have through work and help you decide whether a personal policy should sit alongside it, so your family is not left with a gap after a transfer or a career change.

  • A mortgage is often the largest debt

For many families the mortgage is the bill that would be hardest to cover alone. Mortgage protection insurance and term life can both be sized to it, and we explain the difference in plain terms before you choose.

  • California's review window

California gives you a period after a new policy is delivered to look it over and return it if it is not right. We point that window out, go through the policy with you during it, and answer questions while changes are still simple.

  • Check-ins after the policy is in place

Marriage, a new child, a business purchase or retirement can all change what your coverage should do. We call to review your beneficiaries and coverage amounts after big changes, and we talk through retirement income planning and final expense insurance when those questions come up.
